About Me

I am a research assistant at New York University Abu Dhabi working in computational social science with a focus on economic and social phenomena. My research spans urban economics, gender studies, labor mobility, and migration, as I investigate the micro-level factors that shape social and economic trends. I work at the intersection of technology, society, and data science, leveraging textual datasets—from historical archives and policy documents to media reports and social media—to uncover patterns in human behavior and biases for policy analysis. By employing natural language processing and large language models, I explore the social, economic, and historical foundations of cultures, beliefs, and behaviors.

I was born into poverty and raised by a single mother — there were days we couldn’t afford food. But I turned adversity into fuel. I earned my degree from NYU, built an international career, and learned how to outwork, outthink, and outlast challenges. I’ve defeated my poverty; now I’m ready to help your company defeat its competition.

I’m disciplined, independent, and committed to lifelong learning. I believe in small, consistent steps that lead to great achievements. If you want someone who turns obstacles into opportunities — test me and see.
